Today is some more Halo: Reach. I just haven’t gotten enough I guess, so i’m balancing this with Shadow of Mordor. Right now i’m going through Legendary on Solo and trying to make the sub 3 hour achievement. So far my time has been okayish but it needs to be better. I did the first 2 levels and got 25~ each.

Oni Sword base was a challenge because its far more packed. I kept getting blown up, or shot, or shot and then blown up. I severely underestimated Reach’s Legendary difficulty after struggling through Halo 2’s.

My first strategy i skirted up to the bridge with the shotgun, which is what seems to be the recommended strategy. That didn’t work out too well though. I had better luck with a Plasma Pistol and DMR.

Once out of the base itself i made a run past the tanks and for the Ghost. I used a plasma pistol to Hijack it and then run over the elite.

From there i used the airstrike to clear the Telecom Base and it was a cake walk from there. I made a dash for the button, then hopped in the Ghost again and headed off towards the AA battery. The rest of the level was surprisingly a cake walk. I air striked the AA Battery and sped over too the end of the level.

Of course, i couldn’t let PvP go unplayed. It’s like leaving the Jelly off a PBJ. We did a round of infection on Reach and i got this incredibly lucky kill when one of my friends tried to go after me and the only other survivor.

We also did a game of Oddball of course. This one was really close. We all were neck in neck by like 80 points. Someone only won because the timer timed out. Without the timer i think we would have gone for quite a while.

One of my friends got stabbed in the dick by my Spartan. I didn’t know that was one of the back stab animations, but damn does that have to hurt. It made me clench up a little too. Knowing some of the things my Spartan has done in the past though… something tells me she enjoyed it.

And finally, to end off, we did Death Island in CE with the 5 of us. I ended winning by dominating the hill top with a tank. It was a cheap strategy but really fun. Somehow the match was close too surprisingly.
