Has anyone here vetted LibRedirect?

I don’t know what you mean.

I’ve found very useful the unify option to copy the settings for all instances.

I don’t know what you mean.

long lore short, there were a few game clients circulating for league of legend. Everyone said they were safe and nobody vetted them. Turned out they werent safe. Someone only figured it out via watching like what packets the client was sending. Since then, i try to download as few apps/extensions as possible. Make sense now? :p

It’s a firefox extension with 1.7k users, I don’t think there is going to be an independent study just to make sure it’s safe. That said the project is open source so you can always read the code. The project has many contributors so for me it’s safe enough that I wouldn’t bother looking at the code.

@OptimusPrime
And you can still inspect the code installed, since it’s just JavaScript.

Why not use a more “generic” extension, a redirector. You can redirect anything to anywhere.

How about https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/redirector/

I haven’t vetted it, but looks good
