Man, at this point I just believe that all major companys just suck as much as my vacuum cleaner.
Sony Xperias had this happen too, something to do with the IP of the camera firmware
DRM on camera processing firmware, not the crippling of cameras themselves. Entirely different things.
Why the cameras though? I can think of worse punishments.
People in the comments of the article think Samsung might be trying to prevent competitors reverse engineering the under-screen camera.
