As you can see in my profile, I’ve been here for only 2 days, but I’m very active and passionate about Lemmy as a whole. I try my best to share good content and promote the community. So I would like to apply to be a moderator here if possible.

A mod for !linux@lemmy.ml? Sure, I can consider it if you want that!

Yeah I’d love that! I have a lot of experience in moderation, as I moderate a few subreddits with a lot of subscribers, including /r/ShowerThoughts. And I’m very active as well.

I’ll mod you and let you try it out!

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word “Linux” in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.
