China’s one child policy was to combat explosive population growth as well as the reactionary habit of having many children as a store of wealth. Ethnic minorities in China are mostly from regions where there is not an abundance of food and thus they had lower reproduction rates to begin with.
Birth rates don’t even hit replacement levels in settler states. Explosive population growth is not a issue at all. Indigenous peoples already have higher than average birthrates in the 3 big settler states.
Its a “fix” for a problem that doesn’t exist done for eugenics purposes.

Its a racists discourse. Yes we need to do what we can to make things right for the indigenous peoples who have suffered the most from capitalism and imperialism but we don’t do that by further entrenching racial divisions by punishing people who did not cause the suffering.

Its not just usa but all the western capitalist nations. The goal is to maintain workers at the lowest cost. Drugs are cheap to produce. If they make workers slightly less effective by deadening their senses it just means they will not look in to the real causes of their suffering. There are no shortage of unmedicated workers to take up the jobs that require a clear mind. If they make people die sooner it means less old age pension payouts.
Just don’t think about the aesthetics and don’t step on a scale. Focus on fitness based metrics, like being able to run a certain distance in time or being able to do a certain number of pushups.

Sometimes I wonder if I “have depression” or if I “am depressed” because that is the natural response to the situation. Maybe the people who aren’t depressed are just not really aware of what is going on around them, or they are high on other drugs.

Imperialism is the world wide system of the the bourgeoisie crushing sovereignty wherever they can by any means. Colonialism and Neo-colonialism are the system within a single nation that is used to extract wealth and export it to the colonizing nation. Imperialism is the superstructure which Neo-colonialism is built on.
So Iran’s 1979 revolution was an anti-colonial conflict. The current war is an anti-imperialist war because Iran is not only fighting to keep themselves from being colonized they are also confronting the structures of power used to crush sovereignty of other nations.
Its probably better to be a little dispassionate about it. Supposing the revolution happens, I imagine that if the situation calls for the eradication of fascists and you went into it all fired up it would probably burn you out faster than if you went into it thinking it was a chore that needed to be done.
