Almost everything I just put 01.01.2000 because quite frankly websites have no business knowing my actual birthday.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Why has the world started to mine coal again?
1·3 years agoSeriously? I didn’t know it was anywhere near that low. That’s great assuming they haven’t just replaced it with gas or something similar, although gas is supposed to be better than coal.

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•Why do so many Lemmy instances use weird TLDs?
4·3 years ago.ie is another one, you can’t get them from a lot of registrars and have to prove you’re genuinely based in Ireland.
On flat ground, agreed. On a hill, my car just doesnt have the power to do that without some gas.
Because the manual transmission changes the entire experience of driving it, whereas a manual choke or ignition only changes starting it.
Some people (including myself) just find it more enjoyable to drive a manual. I feel more connected to the car, like its doing exactly what I want it to, and I feel like I’ve done something when I’ve driven home rev matching gears perfectly.
It’s just about preference at the end of the day, but I do find manuals more fun.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•[SOLVED] Will Linux Phones ever become commercially viable and decrease to a price point of 200-400 USD?
1·3 years agoHonestly, I disagree about cheap android phones being shite. I have a redmi note 10 pro and it genuinly is a very impressive phone especially for the money. I bought it new when it came out and it wasn’t expensive at all.

Open Source@lemmy.ml•Does anyone else have problems with F-Droid apps?
3·3 years agoI’ll try this when I’m going to be in my car again. Thank you very much though, the android auto was what was actually stopping me from using the F-droid version!
My banking app (when I had a rooted phone, but even with an unlocked bootloader only this was a problem) even when hidden by magisk wouldn’t work. It told me to unroot it and lock the bootloader.
Down the street, run over by a lorry. About to be shot to make sure it’s dead.
The only time is during setup once I forgot to download iwd so I had to chroot back in to install that from within the installer.
