I have replaced most my search engine usage with Wikipedia and I’m much happier with the results

SimpleX have message relay servers that are required for the sytem to function. It’s not “serverless P2P”.

I guess if they have a built-in weather or news widget, or something like that. The same with a keyboard if it has a gif search or something. Though, there’s no knowing that they’re not using that internet connection to send your data somewhere.

Again this is based off memories from several years ago but I think files were shared as hashes so a new version would be a new file.

IIRC from when I tried this before, I think anyone who views the page then hosts it too. I’m not sure if there’s systems in place to stop the storage used ballooning, surely there are.

And privacy focused. Removing all mentions of software because they have a weird license aimed to stop users getting harmed is a very odd choice.
