With that logic you should have mandatory reporting of anyone entering a hardware store. Neither of these is a real problem.

My last project in aerospace with 100’s of people was mostly Imperial. There is a lot of mixing of units and you can basically design your subsystem however you want. There was a mandate decades ago to go metric, but that has largely been ignored. It’s the worst of both worlds!
My current project is just a couple people, so I mandated all metric. I have to spend a lot of money on tooling, but it is largely fine. I would say 10 years ago getting some fancy aerospace grade fasteners was easier in Imperial, less so today.
My mind still defaults to Imperial for very small dimensions like a 8 thou gap or something.

I definitely don’t have that problem 😂.

I have tried: Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, You Tube Music, Tidal
I now stick with Tidal. Started by (very rich) artists. They pay musicians 3-4X more than Spotify. Highest sound quality available. Good app and works with smart speakers.
BTW with Soundiiz it is easy to sync you playlists across multiple platforms, so no friction with switching.

Spotify is terrible for artists and pays peanuts compared to other services like Tidal. I understand the app is great, but it is not worth it. Spotify is all in on AI music to save even more money. Terrible company.

They would also sell the body armor in that analogy. The good news is AI is so unpopular, there is no way they are getting immunity like social media platforms.
I wish you could make money off of nowing when a company is spouting bullshit, but after watching Tesla stock for a decade…

I am super sceptical of anything made in the last year. Youtube will close to being worthless if the trend continues.

That was the weirdest part, the HuggingFace response made no sense. It was basically “no harm, no foul.” And so convenient it only hacked another AI company.

That’s basically why I love the story. Unfortunately Nolan’s movie apparently has very little nuance in that respect.
I think that is a point worth considering too. I would argue we have incrementally been in decline regarding workers for 4 decades, and just not doing that would have also avoided Trump. Anyway we probably mostly agree.
In defense of small changes, the 2nd term Trump administration is a great example for why it should be difficult to make big changes. Even with the decent guardrail, he is able to completely destroy congressional mandated agencies, implement random tariffs (tariffs are back BTW), use DoJ as personal revenge agency. There should be a small appreciation of what we have today when compared to the last three thousand years of history. Things really can get a lot worse and very quickly.
Do I want Medicaid for all/single payer, yes.
Would I settle for Medicaid for those who want it, definitely.

Hope both SpaceX keeps dropping and NASDAQ faces a class action for this obviously corruption.

Abridging the liberties of a majority of people (maybe in a very small way) in order to fix a perceived wrong of a small minority.
Not a value judgement; these can be good and bad.

The thermal problems are the craziest part IMO. Why do you think they use so much water on earth. In low Earth orbit your entire data center would be mostly radiators, which are heavy and complex with enormous fluid flow rates.

A lot of duel dimensioned drawings when you are interfacing.
I just have to be able to convert back and forth, sometimes in a single sentence: “we are using a 500mm X 450mm base made from 1/16” sheet metal."
