Thanks, I’ll definitely try it out.

Thanks I’ve never heard of them and I’ll check them out.
Thanks…I was hoping I wouldn’t need to have to add a server just for this. I was hoping for a single app in the traditional way.

Emulation@lemmy.ml•felix86 26.03 (AVX/AVX2 support is here!)
2·6 days agoWell Portal 2 is starting to be quite a decent thing to run, to be honest. I wasn’t expecting this level of performance.

2·7 days agoWow, they went for games, of all things, on RISC-V? i thought performance in these was still abysmal.

Privacy@lemmy.ml•Leak confirms GrapheneOS & Motorola partnership for non-Pixel hardware - PiunikaWeb
3·8 days agoI know…I guess it’s just wishful thinking for the future. I’ve gotten a 2nd hand pixel pro last year. That’s…a lot of storage and memory, just about as much as my laptop. Should last me for a while (I hope it won’t physically break for any reason!), so I won’t immediately ride this Motorola wave anyway.

15·8 days agoLenovo’s Motorola, if you ask me. I don’t think there’s much left at all from original Motorola. But they had a decent track record with their recent phones, AFAIK. Not that I’ve owned any from Motorola.

127·8 days agoWhile I’m happy that it’s Motorola, i just wish someone like Fairphone also bites the bullet of investing in a proper encryption chip that’s acceptable to Grapheneos. I’d like to see more or a trifecta (duofecta?) of trustworthy OS and sustainable/committed manufacturer.

32·22 days agoThe end model will be the 70s Arthur Clarke prediction. Just a dumb terminal with no processing capabilities at home, hooked to a mainframe (privately owned of course) which you’ll have to use your all your daily needs.
Grapheneos on Pixel 9 fold. Runs like a charm. You have a normal phone by default for all your normal daily stuff, but it’s ready for all the advanced things you might want anytime.

71·1 month agoI’d go Chinese. Plenty of pictures and videos of them climbing on to the trees, or heavily shaking them, so they get their perfect picture surrounded by the falling petals.
These guys show quite a bunch of pictures https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ar8LnqQmuw

Sorry I asked incorrectly…I thought Jetpac provided programmable sims, so I was asking. There seems to be some sort of hybrid SIMs, which behave like an eSIM and can download the whole eSIM data onto them, and then go around using them on a physical SIM tray. I’ve just heard of this and I"m not exactly sure how reliable those are.
