As an example, if you hold the opinion that the government shouldn’t be responsible for mail services, you can’t just cut it without making sure that there is something else well regulated there to pick up the slack. Regulation does not equate to unprofitable.

There’s all this focus on the NWS/NOAA not sending warnings early enough. Not from what I can tell, they were sending out warnings. And Kerr County, where many of the deaths have been, doesn’t have a local flood warning system because they didn’t want to pay for it.

If the warnings were louder, their parents would have done something. Why are you counting your “not from what I can tell” as data?

I don’t think that’s a good idea at all. Leaks happen all the time and everyone knows that a lot of those machines are compromised. If republicans know exactly who voted for who, that could be an Alligator Auschwitz trip for certain people.
