Asbestos in brake pads was banned as a factory item for car manufacturers. No cars are allowed to come new with asbestos in the pads, it was a solved problem for a decade. It was allowed for replacement pads only(until last year when it was banned entirely).

UK didn’t ban asbestos till 2000, 25 years after we knew it was mega cancer.

1993 for Germany

1997 for France

1992 for Italy

2002 for Spain

China still hasn’t banned asbestos.

Valuing profit over human life is not unique to the US or even capitalism(if you’re foolish enough to consider China a communist state).

Government dictating that citizens MUST give money to a private company who then gives money to the politicians who make that mandate is wildly immoral. Insurance should be a government program.

Leaded gas still isn’t banned. Small airplanes still use it, and homes around airfields (including mine, which my family lived in before the airfield) are contaminated with lead. My daughter failed her 12 month lead test because of it despite us excluding her from outdoor activities in our neighborhood.

It’d be a little harder to make stuff up if they were more open and transparent to journalists. For some reason they really don’t want journalists to be able to travel and report freely though.

Wow, I didn’t realize drones had gotten powerful enough to plow, seed, and harvest. That’s amazing, do you have any links to plowing drones? Sounds cool.

Also a lot of municipal waste systems just don’t pick up general recycling from commercial buildings. Usually just one dumpster for trash and one for cardboard.
