systemd is more of a set of products and software components branded under a single name rather than a single thing.
systemd itself is rather simple, as most other pieces systemd-* software, like systemd-boot, systemd-networkd and systemd-resolvd. these are usually more stable and less bloated than more popular alternatives

your fault for using a DE/distro which can’t even handle fractional scaling
- it’s not intrusive
- it can be dismissed in one click, and this hides these ads everywhere and permanently
are you running android 14? then you’re out of luck ¯_(ツ)_/¯
yeah Google removed it and merged it into android tv/movies app but you can still sideload the old one (you can find it online)

if it’s an android tv there should be a lot of options.
even if none of them are foss you should still be able to use the discontinued android remote app. It’s not foss but it’s not too bloated either (it just does it’s job)
but not posts. vote count is capped at 0
they capped the votes at 0. you can downvote but if there are more downvotes than upvotes reddit won’t show it
legitimate interest is still not a valid legal basis for data collection/tracking in Europe, so it’s not that big of an issue (…but it still allows them to do more they usually can without “legitimate interest”). also most tracking scripts and cookies will be blocked by uBlock anyway
soviet union (mass-produced and) placed them literally everywhere.
there’s at least one lenin or stalin statue per major street, some countries are just starting removing them, but it’s a really long process due to sheer amount of them, regulations and stuff.
the amount of these things is somewhat absurd
- me. i wouldn’t mind being a billionaire. now give me money /s
like the lenin statues that used to be all over ukraine and other post-soviet countries.

1·2 years agonot that bad compared to some websites I’ve seen before tbh
i just keep it on 24/7, even while showering/sleeping (i basically only take it off to charge, which it only needs once every 10-14 days for like 15 minutes).
The vibro alarm thingy is surprisingly effective at waking me up! (somehow wakes me up even faster than traditional loud noise alarms)
but yeah in your case i wouldn’t be very convinient
i use a smartwatch (a cheap-ass huawei band) as an alarm.
also has a bonus feature of not waking up 5 other family members.
spoof safety net or sth
there are ways to get gpay to work. also you may have more luck with lineageos and full system install of official, proprietary google services instead of graphene (but of course you’ll be sacrificing your privacy)
you forgor pro-nazi pedos

don’t get the negativity towards copilot in other comments.
it’s a really smart autocomplete, and this is exactly what i wanted for the past 5 years.
(yeah it’s not going to replace programmers or whatever people’s exaggerated opinions of it are)
wanna quickly create a wgpu bind group?
let texture_bind_group = <tab> <tab>and it’s smart enough to understand the context and pull in texture and texture sampler that are already defined as local variables.too lazy to type this obvious thing in?
(like of course the next opcode is
let op = self.fetch();) just press tab and move on with your life.wanna quickly refactor something?
select, ask CP Chat to “replace all if statements with match”, check if it’s correct and click confirm (it will even show git-style diffs, so it’s hard for something unexpected to slip in)
it’s not perfect, and it’s suggestions do not match your intention like 50% of the time but when they do match or your intention is REALLY obvious (like you already wrote a clear and concise variable name and need to complete the value), you’re a single keypress away from completing those 2 lines of code
It’s not a total deal breaker but it’s definitely very useful. (especially for me, because of my very short attention span. unless i can quickly complete a thing I’m currently working on in less than a minute i will forget about the next 10 things I was thinking of doing)
also i don’t believe the price is justified, but it’s free for students so of course I’m gonna use it.
(you just need to verify your student email and upload a photo of your student id on education.github.com, and you get a free gh copilot subscription, gh pro account, priority support and promos on loads of services like heroku etc while you’re a student)
