    I mean, they’re games meant for kids, man. Why the fuck are you expecting a challenge? The skill ceiling of pokemon is crazy high and building a game to challenge hardcore players would be ridiculously challenging. That being said, watched a let’s play, wouldn’t recommend. It looks… fucking rough and the new combat gimmick makes combat feel incredibly flat. It is an interesting idea, cooldown based combat, but letting the player move around makes it feel floaty and non-impactful.

      So were the original games that offered a challenge. Gosh. I wonder why the first three gens are still looked upon as the best versions of the game. It’s a mystery.

      You know what isn’t a mystery? Why morons continue to make excuses for billion dollar companies.

        That sounds like a lot of effort and money to spend on the biggest franchises on the planet. Pokemongos buy their slop no matter what.

          Oh yeah no doubt. But the person I replied to seemed to think a game can only have one set difficulty.
