      Not true. x^2 = 36 x=±sqrt(36)

      This equation has two solutions. But the square root function itself is defined only as a positive answer. By having two anwsers it would not even be a function.

      Well techically " the square root" seems to imply that we are looking for just one answer, and since the positive one is called “the principal square root”, the correct answer would be “I have a boyfriend”, since it is a positive sentence as opposed to “I don’t have a boyfriend”, which is a negative sentence.
