Hey everyone! Once a year around mid winter, I gather with a group of about 25 people for the weekend, and we each pick up a task. Last year I did a breakfast, and I liked it so I volunteered again this year. I’m now looking for inspiration!
Last year I did a classic Dutch (we are Dutch) breakfast, with various breads, toppings like cheeses, meats and sweets (Yes we put chocolate sprinkles on our bread and call it breakfast), and fruit.
This year I want to do something a little different! Tell me about favorite things to make for a large group, tell me about its history, origins, heritage!

For big groups, my go to is finger foods or easy to make foods.
Pigs in a blanket.
Egg sandwiches (boil a lot of eggs, peel them, mash them with mayo, salt, and pepper, make sandwiches, then cut them into triangles).
Other premixed sandwiches (ham and cheese, egg and ham, etc.)
Sweet foods like pastries and a cake for those who like sweet foods. Like a pan of cinnamon rolls and some muffins.
Savoury foods like eggs but in cupcakes. In a muffin pan, put bread as the crust them add eggs cheese and bacon. Or make it without bread.
Toast with lots of jams, and cold cuts and cheese. Yogurt for those who like that. Fruit and cereal for picky kids.
And of course a huge pot of coffee and tea. Milk and juice.
