Is Bing powered by some ChatGPT now?

Yes. Quite literally. Microsoft bought exclusive rights to chatgpt (I think just 3) and they use it for “New Bing” and Copilot for coding help.

It’s actually really good, though I still use duckduckgo for search probably out of habit

Does it require the edge browser?

The edge browser has a chatgpt sidebar which can even websites and answer based on that. But other than that, no. All you need is a Microsoft account to access the chatgpt features.

I tried finding it on my computer and it wanted me to install edge, but on Android it is it’s own app. I’d like to use the coding support, but don’t want to use edge.

Huh is that so? Seems like Microsoft made another stupid thing when my opinion of them improved by a little bit.

I’m trying it in Android and it’s like ok. It’s cool because it interested other ai like dall-e but there’s ads, etc. I’m wondering when I’m going to get sponsored results, lol.
