That meant the awards show which had thus far had some really impressive announcements closed with a trailer for this firmly mid looking game, and people were pissed. It meant ending on a pretty low note compared to some of what had been seen.
Some people thought incorrectly that Highguard had bought this last slot, but overall it did a lot to turn sentiments against the game, a hurdle they’ve been trying to overcome ever since.
