I’ve been wanting one of these for a few months now and managed to pick one up in the roughly 17 minutes they were available at Cafuné before selling out again. I’ve only pulled one shot so far and I messed up the grind size pretty bad but thought I’d try anyway, and it still turned out pretty good! I know this will make incredible espresso once I dial in grind size, I just need to get there first. It was also a genuine pleasure to use. I’m completely obsessed with this machine now and am so excited to play with it some more.
Still looking for that manual espresso machine for me. That Roboto is a little too 60s for me. If only the picopresso could sit on a cup…
Funny, the design is what initially drew me in. I love retro designs, I’m currently trying to convince my wife to make our entire house decor a mix of Fallout and 2001: A Space Odyssey. Once I did more research on this brewer and found out it also makes some of the absolute best espresso ever, it cemented my need to own it. So far, it lives up to the hype. This thing is awesome.
