    Elden ring

    Pokemon emerald

    Skyrim

    Witcher 3

    Mortal Kombat X

    In terms of replay value

    Tekken 8/Mortal Kombat X (fighting games have basically infinite replay value if there are people online or in person you can play with)

    Dark Souls 2 (best Souls game with the best NG+ system)

    Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate (best MH game, GU is a close second for me)

    World of Warcraft (an addiction rather than a game)

    In terms of “best game”

    Elden Ring/DS2

    Baldur’s Gate 3

    Witcher 3 (after QOL updates)

    Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

    Mother 3

    Honorable mentions: Chrono Trigger, Civilization V, Age of Empires IV, Fallout New Vegas, Final Fantasy VI (GBA), the other 2 Witcher games, Zelda from OOC to Twilight Princess (truly a golden age for Nintendo), Dark Souls 1, Super Metroid, Borderlands 2 (did not age well, but I have good memories of the multiplayer experience)___
