there are bottle cleaning tablets, you just fill the bottle with warm water, drop one (or in severe cases two) tablet in, wait 15-30 minutes and then rinse it out thoroughly. they’re a beautiful invention. now i just need something that automatically cleans the lid for me.

Yeah it gets pretty crazy trying to clean mold out of a mug, takes bleach and then it might take salt and it might even require being shaken with baking soda inside and then washed with vinegar, if it’s recoverable at all.
Polident denture cleaning tablets. Fill it with water, drop a tablet in, and let it soak over night. Wash/rinse the next day it until the minty flavor is gone (or toss it in the dishwasher). The minty flavor won’t hurt you but it makes coffee taste weird. Also works to clear stains off old mugs or rubber pieces that have gotten funky.

I haven’t heard of that one! It looks like it was this and was in a lot of countries. Maybe not as much claymation as I remember, it has animation, also.
