Title. I’m seeing all this chatter about him, and I have no idea what it or he is all about. What’s the tldr version of the guy, his content, and the recent activity?
He makes video essays on YouTube, and he recently did a lengthy essay about plagiarism on YouTube. Now it’s kind of a meme to add sources to everything you put on YouTube.
He makes, mostly lengthy, videos about Videogames, Movies and various other stuff, often related to Grifters(vaccination,flat earth) in an entertaining/funny style. His most recent video is a 4 hour video about plagiarism on YouTube in which he talks about some cases in length.
He’s the reason toots are called toots, and this is probably his most famous (short) video.
E2A: to answer your question, I think there’s some kind of youtuber beef about, maybe, plagiarism? Dunno, he goes viral fairly frequently.
I only watched his pathologic video because it was recommended by several other youtubers in their videos and it was good . I also tried watching his other contents but none was interesting to me. Anyway, he seems to be one of these YouTube essayists that make several hours long videos about a random subject. The videos are mostly based on his feelings towards that thing as it can be seen from his videos titles which are essentially : why “thing” is actually bad/mid/great. He has another serie called something like “a moderate response to " flat earthers/ anti-vaxers/etc”.
He recently made a 4 hours video blaming another famous youtuber for plagiarism. ( at least, thats what people summerised it to me).
Tldr : nonsense youtube drama.
“Blaming”? Idk, he was very clearly pointing out their blatant plaigarism there.
