The more conservative a government is, the more horrific life becomes for the most vulnerable. This has always been the case. Conservatives do not value llfe the way normal people do.

Teach your children why it is dangerous to interact with conservatives. Speak openly about the immorality of keeping relationships with conservatives. Conservatism is a deadly plague of oppression and there is simply no place in a modern society for it.

I think escalating is all Puta has left. No one would attack Russia for killing an ambassador. Everyone would grumble and complain and more sanctions would be threatened (whatever those could possibly be), but no real action would be taken by anyone. He knows that as well as we do.

The ambassador has everything to lose and nothing to gain by going to this meeting in person. The meeting cannot appease Puta in the slightest as it will certainly not result in Finland backing away from NATO membership.

This meeting can only be intended to intimidate or make an example of hthe ambassador. He and his family should have already fled to safety at this point.

Houthis are attacking anyone shipping supplies to Ukraine. They are acting as hired guns for Putin and should be treated as such. They should be dealt with the way any other Putin-directed violence would be dealt with.

Agreed. The U.S. shouldn’t be giving one of the richest countries on the planet anything at all.

But these attacks are at the request of Putin to interfere in supplies going to Ukraine. We should be supporting the Ukraine defense to prevent the spread of Putin’s plague.

When a country becomes a fascist ally of an enemy country, shouldn’t that justify removal from the EU? Can a country be removed from the EU? What is the process and why is it not happening?

Only under Democrats. It is hamstrung, bypassed and suffocated under Republicans, just like the EPA. When conservatives have power, regulation becomes a weapon for them. There is no regulation a conservative will not pervert for their own benefit.

Saudi Arabia is taking the fall for the other oil-producing nations (or the corporations that own those nations), allowing them all to ignore climate change entirely. This way they can all point to Saudi Arabia and say, “Blame them, not us! We did everything we could, but Saudi Arabia just wouldn’t let us come to an agreement. Oh, well. Too bad. Maybe next time.”

COP28 is a fake climate conference led by oil billionaires and fossil fuel execs. Their only goal is to exert control on the global messaging around climate change. They will never agree to meaningful change. We need to be calling it out as the charade it is and demand a legitimate conference that excludes fossil fuel execs and billionaires entirely. There is no “self-regulation”. They need to be regulated by force of laws, not empty promises and fake climate summits.
