1 year agoIn the US, mostly because of the associations with prostitutes made by American soldiers in Europe during WWII. They were frequently called “whore’s baths”. Personally, I love mine and hate having to use a toilet without one.

Agreed. Once you’ve acclimated to using one regularly, it feels nasty not to use one.
