I blame people more than Microsoft. People were either duped or too lazy to say “Microsoft Teams” in full. It’s not too crazy to have services like “Apple Music” because people aren’t allowing Apple to control the word by just saying “Music” casually. People need to go back to saying “Microsoft Teams.” Alas, it will never happen. 😒

Yeah, I stopped developing in JS for good ~1.5 years ago. After using TS, it seems crazy to go back.

I took great pains last week to convert a big python project to make it typed. (shoutout to MonkeyType)

It’s so much nicer to develop now…

Yeah, the TS syntax highlighting already saw the problem, as it’s underlined. I just tried to have it fix it real quick (it used Gemini Code Assistant’s quick fix). Trying it a second time actually fixed it, fwiw.

My favorite is when it just removes erroneous code. Problem solved!
