Yep, it is.
Definitely Not GustavoM. :^)

Yep, it is.

Eh, it’s just a seagull casually yapping here and there – no 3d models or anything. I’m too much of a pleb (yet) for that.

How does using a distro amplifies and/or enhances fascism in any way? That makes zero sense. And before you say, “because the one who made it is fascist” – that’d make even less sense.

Indeed – downvotes has no purpose other than self-validation needs.

I’ve been running nothing than sway after doing a quick test on my rpi 4, running doom 3 – and the performance difference was really significant.

Why on earth you are still relying on 30+ year old CPU’s? Are you a supermarket owner on a third world country?
I’m typing this on a minimal installation, and the ram usage is exactly at 1.4Gb. There’s only brave + a lousy terminal running on the background. (Browser ram usage should be around the 1.2Gb mark btw.)

Not related to piracy at all, but I’ve managed to play some old games like “Max Payne” butter smooth on a orange pi 5 max. Considering your main concern of linux able to run windows software.

What were you expecting, for em to say “Haha Linux is godlike, wow so good haha much meme” when the community name says out loud, “Linux sucks”?

That is a lot of overthinking over something that isn’t a issue at all – any “newbie distro” can indeed “just werk” without the need to ask further questions like GPU type or daily needs.

There is absolutely not a single reason to use Gentoo, unless you have a really old PC that you really, REALLY need to use it.
Debian (sic Armbian, Dietpi) user here. I don’t have this problem.
My streambox/shizbox machine (a Orange pi 5 MAX w/ 16Gb of ram) has Armbian “bleeding edge”/sway (Which is basically “Rolling release Debian”, and no DE) – everything just werks. It’s as easy as “Install packages, copy .dotfiles in, run, done.”. With those things said… yes, I am using Debian. And yes, I also has the latest packages – without breaking things apart. And no, I don’t want to go back to x11.

That’s a bunch of babble just because of an AI-generated image.
“b-but AI took our jeeerbs!”
…it’s just a tool.
Haven’t tested it, but apparently the orange pi zero 3 is pretty decent at 4k.

Hm, this might make smaller sbc boards (like the orange pi zero 3) viable for everyday youtube browsing. Think I’ll give it a shot.

Nowadays it’s all about FEX – they’ve done some significant changes thanks to valve. Including reducing all the “chit-chat” between layers, making the game be as “native-like” as possible. Also, what you’ve said/implied seems to be the case regarding OP’s rig – no comment on that.
…or OP could buy another PC and use it solely to run Windows whilst s/he gets the hang of Linux on his/her main PC.
Your best bet is to set up bash scripts instead that downloads packages and copies/compiles every single thing you need. Then send em to gitlab.
t. That is what I do.
