Knowing how to wire a plug or change a fuse is apparently a vanishing skill. Even calling it a skill feels odd, its barely any harder than Lego.

Not a fish, axolotl.
Dehumidifiers exist if high humidity is the problem.
Got an air to water system so there really isn’t much cleaning to worry about at all. Other than occasionally cleaning the cat hair from the blanket we put on it to make it more comfortable for him.
I just hang my clothes outside, inside if its raining and use a dehumidifier if necessary.
I wish he would do more videos on things I actually own or want to own when mentioning things you should do to improve them. I don’t have a dish washer.
But I do have several things which make use of the refrigerant cycle. Fridge, freezer, dehumidifier, heat pump. Maybe some day I will get an aquarium chiller too rather than using 2L bottles of ice.
Which appliances do you cover cleaning on though? I have never owned a tumble dryer, or a furnace (is that american for boiler or are they a bit different?).
Meanwhile I do have a heat pump, not had to clean it yet, I think its more of a problem when you have lots of trees around, especially ones that drop sticky residue.
Ohhh very high spec there, does explain the high price though.
Now that Factorio is on Arm I could consider it. Still kinda dislike the lack of a generic boot loader that just works across any device though.
To plug its normal charger into. I guess you could get a 12v one instead though.
I see my PC (or home network as a whole?) as my primary device, phone just happens to be one I can easily carry away from the LAN to use offline for a while. Or with minimal 5G data for memes. 3GB/£5 a month.
I would rather spend £1k on something else. My phone was £500 new, but I paid £200 or so as it was second hand. Came with a 5 year warranty from when I bought it still, though I expect all k would get is store credit.
How much do you need permanently on the phone? Could get a NAS or what ever you feel like really to keep it on. Obviously backed up if its important.
Depending on what google do over the coming years I may just go back to a brick phone and get a small cheap laptop with Linux on it to carry around for anything fun. Backpack with a power bank for mains voltage perhaps? Some low spec laptops have pretty low power requirements though.
My phone was 5 years old when I got it second hand. What really would a new one give at this point? Just look for the supported device list on calyx/graphene/etc and pick one that fits your budget that you can get second hand.

The cheddar cheese caves are not literally made of cheese. They are where cheese was traditionally made.
