grow a spine and capitulate to you?
doesn’t sound very “brave” to me…

Well we are on Lemmy so it’s sort of implied.
obviously not, lol Just check out the other replies
and I’m not on Lemmy. I’m on piefed.

you said “popular” not “popular on Lemmy”
it’s like you don’t even know what you said, even when you quoted yourself

again, you didn’t ask for something “brave”. you asked for something I disagreed with, and so I answered your question. if you wanted something “brave”, that’s what you should have asked for.
you also didn’t ask me to start an argument, so you stepped in and did that yourself.

I didn’t know it was a popular belief that prenups, themselves are bad. I always thought it was because, for most of us, our only exposure to them is when something bad happens, causing the prenup to come into effect. Lots of negative associations with the tumult of divorce, the trouble that might lead to one, and the ugliness of the adjudication of the prenup, as they can get nasty.
also, as been mentioned here already: the lack of trust implied by even having one.

I think the key issue is trust, but you’re right.

Frodo laughs

OP You didn’t ask, “why are you brave?”

religion.
invisible sky wizards? magic? miracles?
show me some proof.

FYI: in most countries, something is granted a copyright simply by virtue of having been published. If the claimant has unpublished work, they can still make a claim if they can prove provenance. Copyright is something that happens (more or less) automatically.
The sticky part is that it’s a civil offense, and challenges must be extensively adjudicated-- which is often very expensive.

Yikes! Glad I never used TikTok
oooh! that makes so much sense!
Oh, is that why my game keeps crashing mid game?
honestly, I don’t know. I’ve never played a civ game is didn’t get hopelessly addicted to, but I haven’t really had the money for it yet. plus it has some DRM bullshit on it, so pirating it isn’t an option (yet).
Oooo! Cyberpunk 2077 and Civ VII are 53% off
as I keep saying, the issue here is that you didn’t communicate clearly what you wanted, and, when you got what you asked for, you decided too blame me for pointing that out.
