Thought it was only available for Ubuntu Touch phones but it can also be used on Linux desktop and Mobian.

    I have not used it, but my understanding is that it does connect to the normal Signal servers and allows texting to other users on the official Signal app.

    I guess it is still too obscure for the Signal Foundation to care ;)

    Edit: it is not a fork at all but a independent implementation.

      I’m awed. And yeah, I’d guess something similar: too obscure for Signal to quash it.
