Cool vid. Hexagons are neat, but I feel like humans vibe more with squares and blocks and rectangles better. Almost everything we construct (beds, tables, buildings, plates) is rectangular-shaped. Might be more efficient to build structures and houses in honeycombs tho.
I agree, although it makes me wonder if it wasn’t a constraint imposed on us by the simplicity of molding tools in that shape, rather than an actual desire to use squares. Which then we simply dragged on by cultural heritage. I have no proof, though, just thinking.
On a side note:
But only in a 2 dimensional area, in 3D only in part.
