Muscovies are such great moms. They’re so sweet but will also try to throw hands if they think you’re a threat. My Muscovy hen is very protective. She breached containment one day recently to try to fight a deer, a buck specifically, that had gotten too close to the pen for her liking. I went outside and she had him cornered and was hissing and kept charging him. The deer was so confused and scared. I distracted my bird long enough for the buck to leave and managed to get her contained again without issue.
That’s a muscovy. Have you lived there long? If not, did the previous people feed her last year? Try peas. Like: get a bag of frozen peas, microwave so they aren’t frozen (or hot) and toss a couple out on the walk.
Or pour some of them into a strainer and run hot tap water over them to thaw them.
or just sit on em because it’s hot, and then once they’ve done being useful, give them ass peas because you hate ducks
