Some programs like AntiMicroX and Steam Input can change controller inputs without sudo access, but programs like Kanata and Input Remapper do the same thing to keyboard inputs and need sudo or to be set up so they always run with more permissions than most programs. Why is that? Is it just about controller inputs being less important than keyboard inputs?
