It feels kinda cheap and hollow to me, vs people posting stuff they made, or had at a restaurant

I’m with you 100% but sadly the rules in this community allow this stuff to be posted, and sure it has garnered lots of likes so OP will continue to post this stuff. I wrote suggesting to the admin to look into it as its going to get out of control, but honestly I think unsubscribing is where I’m heading. Sadly this hyper overly saturated and AI manipulated stuff that ruins Instagram is starting to creep into Lemmy.

“You people” is a fantastic way to address an audience. I suggest you use it as often as possible out there.
