As we know, most people aren’t vegan and most “communists” aren’t either. At times I’ve even felt like my vegan but apolitical/liberal/progressive friends have better insight in the intersectionality and have more compassion than all of the carnist “comrades” I work closely with every day. Can I even consider them comrades if we’re so misaligned on a basic idea?

Finding people that care is hard. Befriending and keeping them around is hard. Getting people you know to care is hard. I just feel disappointed and sad. This only sounds arrogant to people that dismiss truth, so I’ll say it: This is what it feels like to be correct, and it’s lonely.
