    logs that fall off of trucks don’t behave that way in real life so that’s still a ticket

          Yes. You are both going the same speed. Unless there is some obstacle on the road that will immediately stop the log your brakes will do a better job of slowing you down than a log will just sliding on the road. The bigger danger is honestly driving towards the truck in case this happens
