Speed limit: 65
Trucks: 55
I pass a truck at 76… That’s a ticket, 11mph over puts you in the “real fines” zone. Never mind that the truck was going 21mph over his speed limit.
Oh, and then the officer says… Since its a first offense, you can waive the fine if you take our online class, and it won’t be reported to your insurance.
The online class has a fee of exactly the fine +$10. Payable to some private company of course.
I wanted to turn around, drive back to Nebraska and [fedpost].

GhostedIC@sh.itjust.works has not one, but TWO warning labels next to their name, telling us that this person is not to be fucking trusted.
What’s up with dat.
Edit: O shit I just glanced at your comment history and now I know what’s up with dat.
I didn’t know, but I’m proud.
You know, I get it.
Does it still benefit you if it isn’t reported to your insurance company and you get I guess to pay less
Yes, but it’s extortion. It benefits me in the same way that if I pay the mob $100, it’s cheaper than if they broke the windows in my shop.
But you did break the law in this case. Waiving it if you do some online class is not exactly extortion imo
