I haven’t read the book but in the video he reads excerpts from it and it sounds painful.

He could just be picking a couple of cases that are paticularly egregious, but still, if it’s emblomatic of the books prose, then it sounds like it’s very similar to the movie and not something I’d enjoy.

So said and done, if you enjoyed it, that’s dope, same for the movie. I don’t care how “bad” or “good” some form of media is claimed to be, as long as people enjoy it, that’s a good thing
