    i recommend always stocking a bit on durables, you never know when you’ll need them.

    for example, the other day i went grocery shopping the supermarket had closed because i forgot it’s holiday. good thing i had food stocked up for such cases.

      Always have spare of everything you use regularly. Don’t shop when you’re out, shop when you have no spare.

      Also, have way too much extra water and a portable gas stove for power/gas/water outages.
