I was just visiting a friend of mine last sunday with my SteamDeck and we played Unrailed! the whole day :D

The SteamDeck is THE perfect, portable fun-games-machine to just take with you. And every sale there’s another few local-splitscreen-multiplayer games on sale, my library is scared already.

If you did not live through the time of “going to your friends to play games”, this is your ticket to a past you sadly never got to experience.

I have recently quit Sly 4 on RPCS3 until I can find out if I can get tilt controls working in some way. Sad because it wasn’t a bad game. Not Sly 2 or 3 levels of “I love it!” with how far I got, but still good.

I’ve also had some fun on Super Chipflake Ü. Otherwise, I haven’t done much with it.

I have been playing quite a bit of Hytale. While ipt is not on steam, it was very easy to install, and plays really well with a trackball and keyboard. It probably plays fine with a controller too, but I have not tried that.

    Back on Fallout 4.

Never tried non-console modding before, but Vivid Fallout & Another Green Mod got it looking real nice 👌

Currently replaying Portal 2, it’s amazing how well it holds up considering it came out almost a decade and a half ago.

Oh sure, if you use retrodeck or something similar, your ROMs can be added to the normal steam lib with images and everything, making it almost fully plug and play. I have been pretty succesful up to PS3 (I love Dante’s inferno), and although switch/BotW required a lot more work beforehand, it did eventually work on a stable fps.

Cairn, but I have mixed feelings about it. There are occasional moments of joy when the climbing system works and looks like real climbing but it seems that most of my time is spent fighting the jank and getting frustrated that this “pro” climber can’t use the most basic climbing techniques.

Also, the performance on steamdeck is abysmal.

It’s a great game so yeah I’d play it first. Also the second game continues the story of the first. Both are enjoyable so I don’t think you’ll be disappointed to play the first before the second. I was super happy when I finally got to the true ending of #1. Still working on that for #2

    • Monster Train 2
    • Ball x Pit
    • Absolum

Also been playing Expedition 33 and picked up Shredders yesterday, but have been streaming them from my PC as they look awful when trying to play natively.

New patch and DLC for Monster Train tomorrow that I’m excited for. Slay the Spire 2 will have some solid competition for my time when it releases!

With Exp 33, you will definitely want to play with the settings. You can get it looking decent, but the default settings were not ideal back when I played it.
