2024 is the Year of Linux on the Desktop, at least for my boyfriend. He’s running Windows 7 right now, so I’ll be switching him to Ubuntu in a few days. Ubuntu was chosen because Proton is officially supported in Ubuntu.

    Yes, they still do. I was looking for help with an issue and their response was no help given because I was on Mint and not Ubuntu.

    Currently, Steam for Linux is only supported on the most recent version of Ubuntu LTS with the Unity, Gnome, or KDE desktops.

    I asked for help with steam library locations and issues with them and they sent me this link and said there was nothing they could do.
