As a software developer, I’d recommend them to switch to semver, having three digits to separate major, minor and patch numbers. Unfortunately it is Android-only (for now, at least), I’m sorry. It is developed with multiplatform technologies (KMP and Compose multiplatform) but I’ve focused on Android and the iOS counterpart definitely needs more work. It is open source though, so if anyone wants to help and experiment it’s more than welcome.
