It’s my understanding that Jade Helm was the pilot test to see what they could do with social media. Seeing how successful it was they turned their sights to the primaries and ramped up their efforts in the 2016 election.
Don’t forget 2015 Jade Helm Scare, where they were testing their ability to manipulate using crazy stories on social media. Russia was able to convince gov Abbott of TX to order the TX National Guard to observe training exercises in Central TX because he was convinced that Obama had ordered the army to go into Walmarts, turn them into makeshift detention facilities and was planning to round up people that voted against him in a hostile takeover of the state. Obviously, it was just a training exercise, but the fear on the right was extreme.

If you haven’t been, Alamo Drafthouse has an actual pre-show before the movie time. They will show clips related to the movie that you’ll see or clips from older versions of the movie you’ll see. Also old game/toy commercials like a time capsule and sometimes they’ll just show some funny Japanese game show moments.
It’s one of the reasons I like going there, you aren’t inundated with ads and kind of get into the mindset for the movie before watching it.
There also the fact that speakers on modern tvs suck because they want only a little black frame around the screen. CRTV speakers pointed at the viewer and modern tvs point downward or behind the screen, so everything is a bit muffled. It’s like they forgot that audio is a big aspect of watching shows and movies or they are wanting to make a ton of money off a separate speaker system.
They need to be taught that anything they use their school email address to log in to or anything on their school laptop can be seen by others. That’s the important lesson missing here.
They also need to be taught how to log out of their school accounts and use a personal account while on a personal device and not doing homework.
This can really hurt students who consider or are unaware of privacy risks while on the internet or on a school device.

That’s not actually the original pride flag. That’s the one with 2 mission stripes that were taken away due to cost. The original had turquoise instead of blue and a pink and indigo stripe, so one color more than the rainbow. Rainbows have red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.

I remember there was a lot of confusion in the 90s when email was introduced to teachers and late 90s when attendance was inputted into a computer program. Getting a 60 year-old professor to not only use a smart phone, but to utilize them in a lecture when they’ve only used books and a blackboard for the last ~40 years of their career would be difficult. Boomers and Silent Generation had a hard enough time figuring out how to use a TV remote, let alone figuring out how to allow students to access a URL via QR code embedded into a PowerPoint presentation.
QR codes weren’t a big thing at that time and weren’t integrated into the first smart phones, eventually you could download an app to use a QR code. However those weren’t really in use in education settings until closer to 2015.
The antibacterial soaps also help create supergerms that can survive the antibiotic used. They should only be used in medical settings when necessary. The overuse of antibacterial soaps and antibiotics are going to help create more pandemics should enough bacteria become antibiotic-resistant.
