I even mentioned customers has having an effect. My whole response was people like this are strong enough for that not to be a concern. I mean all sorts of other concerns but not that one.

came to say specifying users of anything in googles ecosystem does not make sense given everyone with a google account technically has access to it all. Then on top of it its integrated into the search. so anyone logged in and searching is likely counted as using it. heck its integrated into all kinds of things so…

I feel like im a special snowflake virtually immune to ads. The large part of it is im just unwilling to pay for anything that is unnecessary now. Mostly out of necessity but the longer I have to be like this the more all of it seems silly and I feel that even if I had discretionary income I don’t see wanting to use it. Still would like to renovate where I live but that is mostly around disability and reducing energy use. eating out nope. movies nope. any other paid entertainment nope. internet and computer yep. smartphone nope. linux yep. windows nope. mac nope.

im sorry but it kinda does. it is not all that hard to not follow the herd or go against the grain or even leave a social circle. Many can’t do it sure but many don’t have healthy mindsets to.

because people with a healthy mindset are not going to influenced or coerced by social circles. maybe their customers but that only applies to that customers deliverable.

I can’t imagine needing this. Its got to be crazy where you are. I mean if its been hot enough for ac to kick on it can get pretty cold outside my place and not get the indoor temp all that low. and vice versa.

I made a comment like this the other day. like 80% of the time essentially ok answer. not necessarily the best. 20% something wack but can sound reasonable. honestly I think that 80% is in my head from like months ago because I feel like the free ones I screw around with to be conversant have sorta gotten worse.

that does not sound like someone in IT. Granted many of my roles it seemed like they were constantly pushing bussness and management bs on you so maybe. thos things did make me the most depressed with my job activities.
