the reddit blackout is for like two days i expect that 90% of them will stick to the two days and business as usual afterwards. their bottom line is to continue running mods of their communities, even if they acknowledge that was is going on with reddit is bad. they shouldnt have announced a scheduled, limited blackout.

i expect some fringe communities to come here and stay but it will always be business as usual on reddit

therefore Lemmy needs to have a reason for people to stick around, communities offering something that isnt otherwise available, even just a refreshing change of community culture

I’m playing Red Dead Redemption 1 and Undead Nightmare on Xenia at the moment.

I can’t stress enough how incredible it is to be able to not only be able to play it without the glitches and bugs from the updates, but in 60fps in my fairly mid tier system. My friend with an RX470 and was able to play and complete with 30fps 1080p.

It’s as good as one can wish for in terms of having a PC port. Performs better than on console, higher framerates than PS3/Xbox 360 even at the lower end of hardware, and minimal input lag as compared to playing it on my Xbox One X.

The fact that the game is so inaccessible for multiple reason; not available in the PS store, no PC port, only available for Xbox users but Undead Nightmare has game breaking bugs…

It’s a literal game-changer, and this was only possible since August last year. Ive heard RSPC3 has always made huge strides in emulating RDR1 which I intend to try because of its FSR support.
