As someone who does not use dating apps, it seems to me that a lot of men who are not city dwellers get lots of joy out of fishing. It seems rather insulting to demean someone for showing one of their favorite activities to potential mates. To those who would do that, I would ask why not simply move on quietly?
Now that I think of it, those men are dodging bullets like Neo. Smart guys. If I ever decide to put myself out there, I’m putting up pictures of myself at a campground with a fishing rod and bicycle in the background. That should weed out any women who expect four star resorts, expensive restaurants, and expensive toys for their mere presence.
I gave up after my second divorce, I hope you have better luck. Beware, most seem to be looking for free everything with no work for them.
My thoughts, exactly. I still have the original game in the box . World of WarCrack captured me for a few years. I still remember the beauty of the world as I ran or rode horse between cities. The pine forests with snow falling was amazing.
I lost interest because I’m a solitary gamer and you really need to be a guild member to enjoy it. That leads to mandatory raids at 2 am, etc., which I just can’t handle.
Any android device that was released since Android 10 can take a GSI image. I know a galaxy tab 8 can run the GSI from Andy Yan based on testimonials. I will eventually install it on mine. I have it on my galaxy tab 10.1 2019 and I added MicroG. I’ve been running that for over 2 years.
Install something like LineageOS and use Librera or another reader from F-Droid. You will have a much better experience. If you really want to ditch Android , maybe you can get Ubuntu Touch, but device compatibility is dicey.
It’s so heartwarming to see a non-cynical take on something on the Internet. Thanks!
Obviously, the assumption is one spouse supplies all the money, housing, trips, etc., while the other receives adoration and gifts. It’s the huge social stereotype some of us are expected and/or forced to play out.
If I went through the work to wipe the partitions, it would doubtlessly have the same effect as turning off wifi in bios. That would have been my next attempt. It’s more work than disa Ling wifi at the bios level.
I set up the mount points in configuration as dynamic NFS volumes and added Bookmarks to nautilus. You can get to the volume either with cd command or right-click -> terminal here. You can shut down the NAS and only lose the share, which returns when the system goes online.
This is much better than WbDAV, which is fine for simple sharing or for devices that can’t handle NFS easily like Android phones.
While many devices don’t have ROMs built for them, any recent device should work with a GSI.
I just bought a tab s8, as I know Andy yan’s LineageOS 20 works on it from other users’ reports. I currently use it on my old tab 10.8 2019.
I have the same experience. People think I’m wacko for caring about this stuff.
Bottom line: you can’t fix stupid, and almost everyone is stupid.
Wait until you are 50. Anyway, this reminded me of this little gem
Actually, I’m past my 30s and my main complaints are lack of flexibility, and difficulty keeping my weight under control. More focus on exercise would likely help.
Yes, an example of the enshittification of commerce. However, they do remain better than average.
I bought a vanquest backpack about 5 years ago. Bullet proof. Mine is gen-2. The shoulder straps do not tear - ever. They’re expensive, but the craftsmanship earns the price. Their other products are good, too. This is just one type of backpack they make.
LL Bean is not the same company they were a couple decades ago. Most of their stuff is made over in Asia now. It is still high quality vs competition, but it’s nowhere near as awesome as it used to be. I used to be a “true fan”, right down to the rewards card. Now I’m just a fan.
I still have a day pack I got in the nineties, and it’s like new. About half that time it’s been in storage. My son will probably use it next.
My aeron is 20 years old and still good. The mesh is a little looseer, giving a bit less support, but I’m still happy. You made a good choice.
And here i thought it was just a funny movie all hese years!
This - and besides, industrialists have polluted almost every lake and river so that eating those fish might kill you slowly. Being able to both catch and cook is an exhilarating experience when out in nature, though.
