Silent Hill - alone, in the dark.

That’s all it does so far.
But I doubt AI games will succeed, people are always going to want the human touch when it comes to art.

Great, you’re in for a treat

Yeah, same. And my hands are fucked up, and my reflexes slower. Shame, I used to like that sort of game when I was younger. Ho hum, plenty of other good stuff to play.

I really enjoyed it on my steam deck, one day eh

I played it on steam deck about a year ago, and TBH it struggled. Though it’s probably been optimised better since, I think development is ongoing. Still the best driving game I’ve played.

Yeah, also if we argue that violent videogames don’t cause violence - what’s the problem with sexual content? If they’re censoring sexual stuff because they believe videogames if corrupt and change behaviour, the violent ones should definitely be banned.
Also - I’m using Google’s Android keyboard and just realised the dictionary didn’t know the word ‘sexual’. Just in case someone might try to write something spicy. FFS. It knew ‘violent’ though.

No no it’s freedom.

They were trying to argue that it was legally responsible for its own actions? Like, that it’s a person? And not even an employee at that? FFS

I’ve found it useful for a few things. I had had a song intermittently stuck in my head for a few years and had unsuccessfully googled it a few times. Couldn’t remember artist, name, lyrics (it was in a language I don’t speak) - and chatGPT got it in a couple of tries. Things that I’m too vague about to be able to construct a search prompt and want to explore. Stuff like that. I just don’t trust it with anything that I want actual facts for.

It’s there, and I’m lazy.

Nah, you can always come up with new combos. They could have named it ‘squonchy’ or ‘flurgled’, for example.

Makes sense to me. I also can’t be arsed to Google it so I’m just gonna accept your version as fact.

Yeah I played it for the first time last year and I couldn’t really get into it. Gave up a few hours in.

Yeah, I voted remain and like you I could clearly see the harm that leaving the EU would cause, but I couldn’t get the leave voters in my life to listen - so fuckin frustrating! And yeah, it’s hit lower paid workers harder, and even those who’ve had pay rises have rarely had ‘rises’ that meet inflation.
For me there was also the added element that I very much appreciated freedom of movement. I’ve lived and worked and had relationships and made myself at home in several EU countries and I intended to do so again in the future. So few people seemed to value the incredible opportunity this was - fuck off abroad, get a job and a flat, learn the language, make a home. Now I can only spend I think 90 out of any 180 day period in an EU country because of all those dimwitted bigots who voted leave.
I don’t think I’ll ever stop feeling angry about this.

Here in the UK it’s pretty fucked. I earn a fairly low wage, and I live in a van because housing is so expensive. I could just about afford to pay rent, but I couldn’t afford much else. The van thing isn’t ideal - I’m in my 50s, hot summers and cold winters are challenging - but this is the only way I can afford to be able to do stuff and even save a bit.

So much of our infrastructure uses the internet now that if it goes down I wouldn’t be shocked if electric grids, healthcare, shopping, public transport, etc also shit the bed.

So he’s politicising child abuse material now, and associating it with the political right. He’s not entirely incorrect, but it seems like he needs to think before he opens his idiot mouth.

I think it was the verge. . . But a quick search yields mixed results. I dunno, honestly!
Ah, fair enough. I played it for a bit and then moved on, partly because the steam deck was struggling with it. TBF I’m impressed the steam deck could play it at all.
