Check out the game Spintronics. It’s kind of expensive for the whole set, but absolutely worth it if you want to play around with circuits without shocking yourself.

My understanding is that computers in space need to have redundancies in the hardware design because bit flips are a lot more common. Radiation and whatnot. Regardless, you can’t just shove some parts in a case and expect it to work. At least not for very long.

Like, I guess I don’t understand why these damn things have a camera in the first place. At most they should be roughly equivalent to a smart watch - a display and some controls. Maybe bone-conducting headphones or something for audio. It’d be neat to have navigation prompts in glasses, for instance. Buy why a fucking camera?!

Being ‘awake’ to the fact that there are many injustices built into the systems and laws that society uses to govern itself. At the end of the day, people are people. We all deserve the same respect and dignity as each other, no matter what our differences may be. We also deserve to be treated equitably, meaning that those below our standard may need much more help than we do to get to the same level. There’s nothing unfair about this.

Because once it happens, that’s it. You won’t care anymore because you won’t be anymore.

When we’re still developing in the womb, we all start as women. A hormonal change causes the fetus to start switching over to developing as male, which is why every single man has a seam running up their ballsack. In any case, it’s my firm belief that this hormonal change is not a switch, but more like a gradual change. Some get all the external parts but something might not change all the way in the mind. Others have it differently, which is how you get intersex folks. In any case, one does not decide to live their life as a woman, who typically have it much harder than men, on a whim.
