We’ll be lucky if it’s anywhere uninhabited.
We all know he desperately wants to use the nukes for any reason he can come up with. It’s only a matter of time.

Go ahead and start smoking them then I suppose.
They call that brand cowboy killers for a reason.
Depends on if you believe the eeveelutions are cats, but I suppose so.
The Japanese consider them to be good luck too I believe. They apparently do the exact opposite of what others believe, which is warding off evil spirits.

Perhaps. I’m related to a family of magats, and they love shopping in bulk. Many of their friends do too.
Many of them have this mindset that at some point everything in the world is going to break down and that they’re going to have to bunker down in their houses.
This is where my thoughts come from. I’ve never actually heard it correlated to the rapture itself though, but I figure that’s probably up there on the list.

It’d be pure irony if this isn’t a troll account. Conservatives love to buy in bulk as if they’re preparing for the apocalypse rapture. Costco and Sam’s are infested with them.
My wife begged to go to family gatherings the first year we were together even though I told her exactly what they were like and insisted I would rather do anything else.
It only took one holiday season for her to understand, and we no longer have to tolerate this.
This is just what I’ve heard, but apparently 67 comes from a rap song called Doot Doot by Skrilla. The 67 is a reference to the 10-67 police code for a report of death.
Allegedly. I doubt the kids are saying it for any reason though.

Thought I was in the boring dystopia community instead. I suppose I’ll just continue to hope that this is too impractical to happen or that those responsible aren’t competent enough to make it happen.

Yet another reason to despise AI. Animals deserve to be safe too. We’ve already taken so much from them as it is.
As funny as it could be I wouldn’t want to play any part in it. You don’t know when someone is going to lash out.
I spent close to a year being stalked and harassed by another man, although for a different reason than what could happen here. I wouldn’t wish that upon anyone. Being an ally shouldn’t have to mean taking the bullet for someone else. We should be working together to create safety networks where no one has to be at risk or in harms way.

SL was too complicated when I was a kid. Might be different now, but a lot of us went onto IMVU instead. It originally had no separation for over and under 18 accounts, but even after they added it you had both kids and adults blatantly intermingling anyways. You couldn’t search up over 18 rooms as under 18 or search under 18 rooms as over 18, but people could still invite and chat.
Nothing quite like being 15 and hanging out with your friends until one of them invites their mid-twenties boyfriend to the chat.
It’s not as uncommon as you’d think. People are relying on their parents more than ever, and parents who are willing to help are using this as an opportunity to provide help with strings attached.
I really don’t like short-form media. Sure, these people have always existed, but this really promotes it. There’s no room for lengthy explanations either in the video or outside of it in text form.
Say what you will about blogs or youtube, but at least people have text space to add citations and references.
Yeah that’s my situation. I’d try to avoid political discourse and just pretend to ignore their views, but over time it gets harder and harder to ignore. I had to just cut them all off eventually.

Sorry if that came off the wrong way. I more so meant it to point out what I intended in case there was a misunderstanding.

None of this is what I am discussing. I’m talking about the people in the thread who are saying that these people deserved this.

I don’t quite understand the outrage in the thread. I’ve been looking through the comments, trying to see if this ever went beyond gossip and I can’t find anything.
From my understanding the app was intended to be a safe space for women to discuss dating. Relaying information about dangerous individuals, or people who cheat. I can imagine that things might have gotten slightly out of hand in regards to anonymous gossip, but is that anything compared to being doxxed? Besides, women, and men have been gossiping behind each others backs for as long as humans have existed. An anonymous app makes it significantly worse certainly, but it is what it is. This behavior is always going to exist for better or for worse. For example, people already discuss this on sites like fetlife since the risk of ending up with someone who wants to batter you for the sake of battering you is somewhat high there.
Surely we can have some sympathy for people who have had their identifications doxxed by 4chan who haven’t done anything worse than a bit of toxic gossip at most?

All you do is a quick search on the case to see if it’s real or not.
You could easily. We have resources such as LexusNexus or Westlaw which your firm should be paying for. Even searching on Google Scholar should be enough to verify. Stay away from Casetext though, it’s new and mostly AI. LN and WL also have AI integration but it’s not forced, you’re still capable of doing your own research.
I’ve been telling people this for a while, but everyone needs to treat AI like how we used to treat the wiki. It’s a good secondary source that can be used to find other more reliable sources, but it should never be used as your single standalone source.
I’m not going to sugarcoat it, AI is being forced everywhere you look and it is getting a bit difficult to get away from it, but it hasn’t taken over everything to the point where there is no longer any personal responsibility. People need to have some common sense and double check everything as they’ve been taught to do even before AI.
I upvote a lot, but I don’t always comment as much as I should. I often find that I may or may not have anything particularly new to add to the comments.
