Just finished municipal elections and lost my city to the ex-mayor who had sold us out for 30+ years once again.

Going up on provincial next week and expecting to also lose to a really awful party that will likely mean I will lose my job.

Ugh in Canada we have an exclusion for people using assisted death (MAID) solely for mental health. They just recently extended that exclusion ‘indefinitely’.

I know it is more clear-cut with physical illness but people with incurable less visible disabilities should be allowed a dignified death as well.

As a British Columbian, no it is absolutely not worth the loss of our natural coast and endangerment of our ocean life. Fuck Carney. We could invest in much greener forms of energy as nation building projects.

The ad essentially showed what appeared to be a hanging pair of converse, held up by a person wearing a white skirt, and a ‘trick of the light’ reflected what appeared to be a KKK hat. Wasn’t terribly subtle.

Well yes, in this instance I assumed they were talking about the converse ad, and I was literally about to buy some new shoes from them cause my favourite ones just ripped. I saw the ad, will now find another brand to purchase from.

That plan only works when the ad is not so controversial that it makes people want to boycott the company.

Because now I am boycotting that company even though I really needed to replace my shoes and already had them picked out.

My hygienist told me recent studies say mouthwash isn’t all that good for you anyway because it kills the good germs too.
