Ah the joys of lost social cues
Different instances are federated with different groups of other instances. By posting to multiple instances it makes it more likely that people would see the post that they would have otherwise not seen.

This issue also seems to be related to the Clipboard API. My thinking behind this is that I cannot use this example page for jpeg/jpg images, but it works fine for PNG.

I have learned that if I use an app to take a jpg file that I cannot paste and convert it to PNG, then it works.
I use Image Toolbox for converting without saving an image.

4·9 days agoI spent a bunch of time getting Projectivy set up all nice. But after using it for a while I realized that it’s effectively unusable due to the long launch time.

It’s not the same. It’s a higher quality image. It also seems like someone colored in their lab suits yellow.
