I stopped listening to nightcore due to lack of effort

I only use a very small amount of channels for nightcore, because as you say it is easy to make low quality releases, so there are lots of them.

My hopes are that it is the gateway to other programming languages like C, As I have plans to shore up my own WM or customize Sway more to my liking!

Well, I did it previously, but it’s because they were wearing a giant anthropomorphic animal costume, so it’s not the same thing.

Nope. Up to now I always was lucky enough to just not get in overly stressful long-term situations and for the rest I go through with it by calculating the right priorities.

What kind of music are you listening to recently ?

I was going through the last uploads of YouTube music promotion channels I get most of my music from. Then this has been interrupted by this (origin of it)
After finishing that playlist I will return to the (Rock / Metal) Nightcore channel and after that some of the uploads of Defqon.1 (which I’m looking forward to).

Related to this: RANT. The Nightcore channel started to include AI music which always sours my mood when they come up between the real music. me mad.

PS: whenever I reply to such comments, I’m afraid that I talk too much about myself instead of responding (for the lack of a better word) to the author.

Cyberpunk 2077

This week I noticed by accident that a new season of Edgerunners got released. I’m looking forward to watching it as I liked S1 (once I have the time for it ._. ).

Tried to install Gentoo Linux on my current solo laptop

Reminds me of when I was bored in online classes and started installing Gentoo in a VM. Took quite a while (because if Rust for Firefox) and in the end it didn’t boot because I forgot to include the driver for the virtual disk in the kernel :D But I was able to change the type of virtual disk adapter and it did boot and run.

I don’t use Android apps for the Fediverse (only browser), so I can’t speak from personal experience. There is an app called Interstellar which supports multiple platforms (Mbin and Piefed beside Lemmy) and also multiple accounts and looks quite clean.

Well, this suck :( I’m sorry for you especially as changing jobs in the current economy is everything but easy. But if you spend a bit of time every week looking for one (on the internet or by talking to friends) maybe a lucky opportunity will come up. Hope til then you can at least relax in your holidays.

If you are prepared for boredom interrupted by dealing with upset customers (or whatever the term for them is in government context) then it is a chill job indeed which is unlikely to get replaced by technology soon. And I think payment is adjusted to inflation now and then (well, depending on the country), so you don’t have to be good at salary negotiations, which is another plus.

Happy for you that you will go to a furmeet. You don’t have to judge yourself so hard. I was on a (big) Furry convention and I don’t even have a sona. The Furry fandom is a very open and friendly one as far as I experienced it. :)

This doesn’t have to be a disadvantage, as this way you are not “locked into” their group and both of you have more incentive to branch out and find people you vibe with while still having each other in case someone feels uncomfortable.

I notice the effects of the current recession, not on myself but my friends where some also are job-hunting without success for a while. The growing hopelessness is sad to witness. And not just in IT; because of the falling birth rate friends who studied in the field of daycare are also struggling right now.
